Step by Step

Join this excursion brimming with history and charm, where you’ll discover some of Ireland’s greatest natural wonders and historical gems. The tour will last approximately 9 hours, during which you’ll learn about the island’s history and culture, accompanied by an expert guide.

You’ll start the day with a scenic drive through the idyllic landscape of Wicklow National Park, where you’ll enjoy magnificent views of its mountains. In this national park, you’ll stop at Wicklow Gap, one of the highest mountain passes in the region, from where you can marvel at the views of the area from avantage point.

The next stop will be at Glendalough, a ruined monastic complex founded by Saint Kevin in the 6th century. The area is notable not only for its ruined buildings but also for the beautiful lakes and mountains that surround it, making it a true natural paradise.

You’ll then step back in time with a tour of Kilkenny, Ireland’s medieval capital, also recognised as one of the island’s most beautiful cities. You’ll be able to stroll through its cobbled streets and discover the impressiveKilkenny Castle, which was built in the 13th century by the Norman conquerors.

Once the excursion is over, you’ll return to the original starting point, as this is a round-trip tour.

    The visit to the valley is spectacular, it is a must. Even the bus route itself.

Meeting point

  • If you choose the option without a pick-up, the meeting point is Zrinjevac 2, 10000, Zagreb. You can wait in front of the weather station. The guide may arrive up to 20 minutes late due to the multiple pick-up points and traffic.
