The Jacquemart-André Museum in Paris, located near the Champs-Elysées, is more like a family home than a museum. It was built at the end of the 19th century by Edouard André and his wife Nélie Jacquemart, a couple of great collectors.

In this private mansion you will discover authentic 19th-century rooms and temporary exhibitions of international scope, such as the Füssli collection. Some of the permanent paintings in this museum are St. Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge, by Giovanni Antonio Canal dit Canaletto; The Toilet of Venus and Sleeping Venus, by François Boucher; and The Portrait of the Marquise d'Antin, by Jean-Marc Nattier.

In addition to the paintings, you can also visit the majestic salons, including the spectacular tea room, where you can have an aperitif.

If you prefer a guided tour, you also have the option of booking it separately to learn from a professional about the life of a wealthy Parisian.

Great quality in the exhibitions. I do not consider it a must-see museum, but it was worth visiting. Recommended, the experience was quite good.
