Buenos Aires Tango Show at Señor Tango

The tango show at Señor Tango takes place in a space that, from the moment you enter, dazzles with its elegance and good taste. The theatre occupies a former general store, now transformed into a magnificent venue that many know as "La Catedral del Tango". Its architecture and aesthetics recreate the essence of the places where tango began to shine in all its strength and splendour.

Señor Tango has established itself as the largest show house in Buenos Aires, a temple dedicated entirely to tango. Every corner of the theatre breathes tradition and memory, evoking the spirit of the old tango neighbourhoods like Barracas, where -according to historian Enrique Horacio Puccia- "for the first time they put a bandoneon in Buenos Aires' lap".

The show starts at 22:00 h with an explosion of talent and passion: nine couples of dancers perform traditional tango accompanied by a live orchestra. The presence of the renowned singer Fernando Soler, a leading figure of contemporary tango, adds emotion and interpretative strength.

One of the most striking elements is its circular and rotating stage, which guarantees a perfect perspective from any seat. Throughout the evening, more than 40 artists on stage present a journey through the evolution of tango: from its most authentic and arrabalero roots to the modern and stylised versions that define the genre today.
