How does the Dublin Explorer Pass work?

The pass is very simple to use. When you make your booking, you’ll receive a digital version of the pass and instructions on how to use it via email. You can keep it to hand on your phone or, if you prefer, print it out. You’ll also have the option to download the mobile app specified in your booking voucher, where you can access the full list of attractions included, manage your bookings for them and, ultimately, have all the information you need to enjoy your pass at your fingertips.

How do I activate the pass?

You have one year from the date of purchase to activate your pass by using it for the first time at one of the included attractions. Once you’ve activated it, you have 30 days to visit the number of attractions you’ve chosen.

What are the benefits of the pass?

It’s the perfect way to explore the city of Dublin and enjoy its main attractions. With the Dublin Explorer Pass, you’ll have access to a wide selection of over 30 attractions and activities, and you can choose a pass for 3, 4, 5 or 7 attractions, giving you the flexibility to tailor your sightseeing experience to your preferences.

Are there any attractions that require advance booking?

You don’t need to confirm in advance which attractions you’ll be visiting, but please bear in mind that some venues require advance booking. You can make these bookings via the app by following the instructions you’ll receive after making your booking.

Do children need a pass?

There’s a discount on passes for children aged between 5 and 15. Children under 5 get free entry to most attractions and therefore do not need to buy a pass.
