Step by Step

Riding an electric bike, you’ll go on a guided round-trip tour lasting approximately two and a half hours, during which you’ll visit some of Lisbon’s most famous sights. In a group of around 24 people, you’ll see Praça do Comércio, the National Pantheon of Santa Clara, and the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora.

You’ll enjoy the charm of Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest neighbourhood, whose cobbled streets remain just as they were in medieval times. The neighbourhood is well known for its fado houses and for the festivities of St Anthony, which, in June, draw thousands of people to its streets. You’ll also be able to observe some of the Moorish influence that this charming area still retains in its architecture.

You’ll have the chance to enjoy the beautiful views from the Graça viewpoint, situated on the highest of the seven hills on which Lisbon stands. Next to the viewpoint, you’ll also find the iconic St George’s Castle.

The castle and the viewpoint are situated in the heart of the Alfama neighbourhood, one of Lisbon’s most famous residential areas, characterised by its courtyards, traditional taverns and corner shops. It has been the setting for historic moments such as the opening of the city’s first state school and the arrival of the iconic No. 28 tram.

Other points of interest you’ll be able to enjoy during the tour include Bairro Alto, the São Pedro de Alcântara viewpoint, Praça de Martin Moniz, Lisbon Cathedral and the Senhora do Monte viewpoint.

For people who are not used to riding a bicycle, this is essential because electric bicycles move forward almost automatically and no effort is required to pedal.
