Step by Step

Iconic landmarks, history around every corner and free time to explore. Fancy joining us? Here’s everythingthat awaits you, step by step, on this 15-hourexcursion to Washington:

  1. Sunrise on the road. The adventure begins early in Manhattan. We’ll meet at the pick-up point and board a comfortable coach that will take us to the political heart of the United States. During the journey, we’ll cross three states: New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland, leaving the hustle and bustle of New York behind as we head into completely different landscapes.

  2. A stop to recharge our batteries. After an early start, we’ll make a strategic stop in Delaware for breakfast and to stretch our legs. A good cup of coffee and a moment’s rest will set you up for everything that awaits us in Washington D.C.

  3. The solemn Arlington National Cemetery. Our first stop will be Arlington National Cemetery, a place where history and respect come together. We’ll walk to the Kennedy Brothers’ Tomb and the Eternal Flame, a symbol steeped in meaning. Before continuing, we’ll make a brief stop at the Marine Corps Memorial, where you’ll be able to take some stunning photographs.

  4. From Arlington to Constitution Avenue. We’ll cross the River Potomac to enter the heart of Washington. We’ll pass by some iconic buildings such as the Pentagon, the State Department and the Albert Einstein Memorial. Here, every corner has its own story, and our guide will make sure you don’t miss a single detail.

  5. A stroll through Memorial Park. Memorial Park is much more than just a collection of monuments. From the Lincoln Memorial and the famous Reflecting Pool (yes, the one from *Forrest Gump*) to the Vietnam and Korean War memorials, every stop offers a window into this country’s past.

  6. The White House and the Capitol. It’s time to head to the two most recognisable symbols of the United States. You’ll enjoy unbeatable views of the White House, with time to capture its majestic façade. Further on, we’ll arrive at the Capitol, the nerve centre of the US government, where we’ll make another stop for photos.

  7. Free time on the National Mall. Here you can decide how you’d like to spend your time. You could have lunch, explore the National Air and Space Museum or any of the other museums lining the National Mall. With 90 minutes at your disposal, the choice is yours.

  8. Return to New York with an unforgettable view. We’ll set off on the return journey as the day draws to a close. Weather permitting, we’ll make a special stop to enjoy the night-time views of the illuminated Manhattan skyline. A perfect end to a memorable day.

  9. Arrival in Manhattan. We’ll return to our starting point in the evening, taking with us memories of a day filled with unique moments and incredible photos. An experience that will stay with you long after you’ve returned.

We had time to visit and a short time to rest, it was very important because the tour lasts a long time, but it is worth it.
