Step by Step

Aquaduck offers a panoramic tour of the Sunshine Coast with a rather literal twist: you start by travelling along the road and, a few minutes later, the same vehicle enters the water and becomes a boat.

During the land-based part of the tour, you’ll get to experience the atmosphere of Mooloolaba and see some of its most iconic landmarks before heading towards the coast. Highlights of the tour include Point Cartwright, the fish market and the trawler harbour.

The highlight comes when the Aquaduck enters the water and begins its journey along the Mooloolah River. From there, the tour offers a different perspective, allowing you to admire the scenery from the waterways.

The route continues through the Minyama area, known for its waterways and large waterfront homes. You’ll also have the chance to spot some of the local wildlife as you travel along the river.

The experience lasts approximately 1 hour and is designed especially for families. Children also receive an Aquaduck captain’s certificate as a souvenir of the trip.

    The area with the large houses facing the water was one of my favourite parts.

    Some explanations were harder to hear when the vehicle was making more noise, although on the whole they were still easy to follow.
