Step by Step
At Crystal River you can swim and interact with the Florida manatee. Try the Swim with Manatee Adventure tour to meet these large animals nicknamed "gentle giants".
With groups of 11-14 people, you'll wear a wetsuit and snorkel mask to get up close and personal with the manatees in their natural environment. A divemaster will assist you with the dive and a certified captain will accompany you. Everything will be done with care for the manatees and without disturbing them.
If you want, you can buy photos and videos of the tour afterwards. You will also learn about the manatees: where they live, what they do and how to help them.
The boats protect you from the weather and there is also a package with hotel, breakfast, and other services such as towels, hot drinks and changing areas.
