The trip will last approximately three and a half hours
The coves in northern Menorca are typically characterised by reddish-hued sands , as well as much rougher seas and dark cliffs. On this trip, you’ll have the chance to see coves such as:
- Cavalleria: its reddish landscapes, clayey soil and rocks battered by the fierce waves make it a favourite spot for locals and tourists alike. It’s the perfect place for diving and snorkelling, as well as being home to a wealth of marine life.
- Cala Pregonda: this cove has dark-coloured sand and crystal-clear waters. The varied shapes of the rocks emerging from the middle of the sea are also a highlight.
- Fornells: a charming fishing port, perfect for sports such as sailing, kayaking or snorkelling. It boasts natural sites such as Fornells Bay and Cala Tirant.
These coves are typically characterised by sand with more reddish tones, as well as much rougher seas and dark cliffs.
Menorca is the smallest of the Balearic Islands and, whilst the coves in the south are renowned for their turquoise waters and fine sand, those in the north tend to have darker sand and are characterised by numerous cliffs and rocky outcrops. It is an ideal destination for a holiday and relaxing walks with the family, allowing you to make the most of its countless unspoilt spots. Furthermore, the island was designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1993.
