Step by Step

This excursion departs from Lagos and heads to Ponta da Piedade, one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the Algarve. After a boat trip, you can take a dip in the sea and go on a kayaking excursion accompanied by an expert guide. The experience lasts approximately 2 hours.

Ponta da Piedade is a famous headland on the Algarve coast. It is situated a few kilometres from Lagos and is characterised by its high cliffs dotted with sea caves. Some of the rocks resemble camels, submarines or cathedrals, creating a stunning landscape. On sunny days, you can spot the parish of Sagres, situated at the southernmost tip of Portugal.

During the trip, the guide will explain how the rock formations came to be and, with a bit of luck, you may spot local wildlife such as dolphins, turtles or the peregrine falcons that nest on the cliffs.

The boat trip takes place on a vessel that can easily navigate inlets and caves, whilst ensuring passengers’ comfort. For this excursion, we recommend bringing a beach towel, swimwear and sun cream.

    A very interesting kayak tour, although I expected something more from the caves. I don't regret having done it, I think it was a good experience, although I doubt I will repeat something like this again. Recommended to do it once.

    I was very surprised at how much fun and exciting this kayak tour was. We enjoyed the natural beauties while sailing along the waters of the Algarve coast. It was unique.
