Step by Step

The Hiroshima Sightseeing Bus offers you the most convenient way to visit the city without worrying about schedules or transfers. There are three colour-coded routes: Orange (includes Art Museum and Castle), Green (passes Okonomi-mura and Toshogu Shrine) and Lemon (direct to Peace Park). All of them pass the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park, so you won't miss these must-see sights.

Each bus departs approximately every 30 minutes from 09:00 to 17:45 (08:00-20:00 between March and October). A full circuit takes around 50 minutes, but with your day pass you can hop on and off at any stop as many times as you like before the end of the calendar day.

Highlights include Hiroshima Station, the Hiroshima Prefectural Museum of Art, Hiroshima Castle, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the lively Shintenchi area. Thanks to this flexibility, you can organise your itinerary without rushing, spend more time on what interests you most and move around at your own pace.

You can exchange your pass at the transport information office at the Shinkansen Exit of Hiroshima Station (1F). Simply present the QR code on your reservation, scratch off the date of use and collect your ticket. You can then use it on the same day on any of the three routes.

Although the ticket is a one-day ticket, you can purchase it up to 30 days in advance before redeeming it.
