The green route focuses on the heart of the city. During the tour, you’ll be able to see sights such as Marienplatz, the Town Hall, the Frauenkirche, Odeonsplatz, the National Theatre, Karlsplatz, the Viktualienmarkt and the historic Hofbräuhaus brewery. The full circuit takes approximately 60 minutes and services usually run at intervals of around 30 minutes.

The Discover ticket includes 24 hours of unlimited travel on this route. It’s a good option for those who mainly want to explore the historic centre and enjoy a panoramic introduction to Munich’s major landmarks.

The Essential and Explore tickets also include the orange route, which connects the city centre with more outlying areas. This route allows you to visit Nymphenburg Palace, stroll through its gardens, explore the Olympiapark and discover the area around BMW Welt and the BMW Museum. It also passes through Schwabing, a neighbourhood known for its atmosphere, its shops and its proximity to the English Garden.

The orange route takes approximately 80 minutes. Services usually run every 60 minutes on weekdays and approximately every 30 minutes at weekends, although this may vary depending on traffic or operational requirements.

Validity begins when you validate your ticket on the booked day. You can start your journey at any of the designated stops and, from that moment, hop on and off as many times as you like during the 24 or 48 hours corresponding to your chosen option.
