Experience Highlights

Biggest difference from other tours is that You are in a small group, max 8 guests in a mini van. Because of that we avoid border traffic Enjoy a full-day guided group tour to Mostar and the Kravice waterfalls. The natural splendor of Kravice must be seen to be believed; a cool refreshing mist belies the beauty of a crystal clear aquatic marvel that is well worth seeing. Mostar is situated on the Neretva River and is the fifth-largest city in the country. Named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans. In the late afternoon, you will return back to your hotel.

Mostar is a great day out from the Croatian coast - a full day bus tour from Dubronvik, combining the town of Mostar by the Neretva river and Kravica waterfalls a few miles away. Mostar has many tourist shops and some excellent restaurants. Good views of the old Mostar Bridge at the heart of the town.

Wonderful trip, the driver was great and gave some lovely recommendations for lunch in Mostar (definitely recommend the plates from Sadrvan). The waterfalls were beautiful - the water was a bit cold due to the time of year but can imagine it would be very refreshing on a bit of a warmer day.

Took this tour with Bruno who was knowledgeable, helpful and a great tour guide. He picked us up early - 7am! But this meant we were well on our way and had no issues at the border. As it’s a minibus (as opposed to the larger coach tours), we arrived early at the Kravice Waterfalls…perfect; it was quiet (approx 20 people there) and we almost had the view to ourselves. Bruno was more than happy to accommodate the group’s timings and we had plenty of time in Mostar too. Though this was very busy, Bruno gave food recommendations and tips to avoid certain tourist traps. Yes, it’s a long day (arrived back at our hotel around 5pm), but well worth paying the little extra for this smaller tour. You won’t regret it!
