Thanks to this excursion, you’ll be able to visit, in just one day, some of the most beautiful villages in Asturias, such as Llanes and Ribadesella, as well as a village in Cantabria, Santillana del Mar. As well as visiting them, you’ll also be able to learn all about them thanks to the tour guide who will accompany you throughout the experience, which usually lasts around 10 hours.
Transport between locations won’t be a problem, as all journeys are included in the tour. These are also carried out in an air-conditioned vehicle. During the journeys, the guide will provide you with recommendations and highlight some key features of each village before you arrive.
In Ribadesella, you’ll take a walking tour through its streets, where you’ll learn about the history and traditions of this town, which is so important to Asturias. As you walk, you’ll see palaces and noble houses in the Renaissance or Baroque styles. You’ll also visit the Ermita de Guía, home to the patron saint of sailors.
Meanwhile, in Llanes, you’ll enjoy a wide variety of shops and leisure venues, such as the Casino and numerous restaurants. Not to mention several monuments, including its 13th-century tower, the Palace of the Dukes of Estrada and the Gates of Llanes. In this town, you’ll have some free time to explore it at your own pace and visit the places of your choice.
Santillana del Mar is the only one of the three towns located in Cantabria. During your visit, you’ll see its most important sights, such as the town hall and the various palaces scattered throughout the town.
