Step by Step
This catamaran excursion from Fajardo with snorkelling begins at Marina Puerto Chico, from where you’ll set sail for the Cayos de la Cordillera Nature Reserve. During the sail, which lasts around 35 to 45 minutes, you’ll be able to admire the scenery of Puerto Rico’s east coast and spot landmarks such as El Yunque National Forest and Fajardo Lighthouse.
Upon reaching the snorkelling area, you’ll be given the necessary equipment —mask, snorkel, fins and a flotation device — and will enter the water accompanied by a guide. Whether you’re an experienced snorkeller or a first-timer, the guide will tailor the activity to your level and help you identify the fish and other species that inhabit the reefs.
After exploring the seabed, it’ll be time to relax. A light lunch awaits you on board, accompanied by water, soft drinks and drinks made with Puerto Rican rum for those aged 21 and over. Afterwards, you’ll have time to stroll along the beach, swim, sunbathe or have fun on the boat’s water slide.
The excursion ends with the return journey to Fajardo, rounding off a perfectly balanced day of adventure and relaxation. Please note that the afternoon departure visits Icacos, whilst the morning departure heads to Vieques, so it’s important to select the correct time slot when booking.
