  I went mainly to see the Sistine Chapel and ended up thoroughly enjoying the galleries leading up to it. It’s best to allow plenty of time, as the place deserves to be savoured at a leisurely pace.

  A very comprehensive experience. I would have liked the meeting point to be a little more visible, but once I’d found it, everything was straightforward.

  There were quite a few people about, but avoiding the ticket office saved us a long wait. The audio guide in Spanish was clear and the visit flew by.

  The Vatican Museums are enormous, almost overwhelming. I enjoyed being able to explore at my own pace and take a break whenever I needed to. The ticket and the map worked well.

  Everything went well from the meeting point to the entrance. The School of Athens was my favourite part; I hadn’t expected to be so moved by seeing it.
