During the evening, you’ll hear a programme centred on some of the composers most closely associated with the Viennese musical tradition. Mozart is represented by pieces such as *Eine kleine Nachtmusik* and the *Dissonance* Quartet, whilst Haydn features with works such as the *Emperor* Quartet.
The repertoire also features Beethoven, with his String Quartet No. 4 and the ‘Ode to Joy’, and Schubert, with pieces such as ‘Ave Maria’ and ‘Death and the Maiden’.
The programme is rounded off with two of the melodies most closely associated with Vienna: Strauss’s *The Blue Danube * and *The Radetzky March *. The result is a highly recognisable journey through some of the great names of classical music.
The ticket also includes admission to the Haus der Musik, where you can explore interactive exhibitions on sound, composition and the city’s musical history.
