It worked. Found the meeting point quite easily, and got into the Accademia Gallery. Make sure to check the official site for availability first, as tickets will be cheaper. This is a great option IF the official tickets are out of stock.

The Accademia was easy to enter and easy to go from room to room. David, of course, was one of the main statues of interest and he did not disappoint. The detail of his features, especially his hands, was unbelievable.
