Some of the stops on the Red Route are:
- Grassmarket: get off here to see Edinburgh's local market and mingle with the Scottish population.
- John Knox House: at this stop you will be right in front of this historic house which is believed to have been owned and lived in by the Protestant reformer John Knox in the 16th century.
- Johnston Terrace: this is one of the highlights of the tour as you will see Edinburgh Castle in all its splendour.
