Beauvois airport is located in Tillé, about 85 kilometers north of Paris. It is known as the third airport in Paris, after Charles de Gaulle and Orly.

In this post I will tell you about the means of transport to get from Beauvois airport to Paris. There are options for different budgets and time available, so take note of the details to choose the one that best suits your trip.

Private transfer, the transport that suits you

The advantage of these services is the convenience and flexibility, as you are picked up when you arrive, without queues, and taken directly to your destination, without having to decide how to move in the city of Paris to get to your hotel or apartment.

Another advantage is that you can customize the trip according to your preferences or your travel expectations. For example, you can choose different models of car or minibus, depending on the number of people you are traveling with or the way you like to move around. The services that are usually included are:

  • Professional driver
  • Welcome sign service
  • Free cancellations up to 24 hours prior to pick-up time
  • Luggage rack service
  • Extra stops in the same city, interesting for groups with different accommodations.

Interesting facts

  • Schedule: whatever you need. In the contact forms they ask you for your flight details and explain how you will meet at the airport.
  • Price: varies depending on factors such as the vehicle you choose. But a round trip service can cost approximately 300€ in a vehicle that seats three people with three pieces of luggage.
  • Duration of the trip: about one hour and twenty minutes.
  • Is it necessary to make a reservation? Yes.

Bus, a direct and economical option

There is a shuttle bus service (shuttle bus) that runs directly between the airport and the capital. This option is the fastest and also the cheapest if you buy a round-trip ticket.

However, if you prefer, you can buy a one-way ticket. The price is adjusted with the round-trip, so it is not more expensive.

The destination stops in Paris are:

  • La Défense Terminus Jules Verne
  • Saint Denis
  • Porte Maillot

And if your reason for travel is to visit Disney Paris, you also have direct shuttle bus service from Beauvis.

Interesting facts

  • Timetable: departures from the airport to Paris start, depending on the destination, around 8 am. Thereafter, there are departures almost every hour, although I advise you to check the schedules on their website. Departures in the opposite direction, from Paris to the airport, start around 3 am.
  • Price: for adults, the round trip costs about 27€ and for children about 17€. A single trip is about half the price: Approximately €15 for adults and €8 for children. For small children (up to 4 years old) the trip is free.
  • Duration of the trip: about one hour and fifteen minutes.
  • Intermediate stops: none.
  • Is it necessary to book? It is advisable, because you risk that there are no seats available or that there is a queue and you miss the bus.

Rent a car, travel at your own pace

If you plan to travel during your trip to Paris by car, there are several companies that offer car rental directly at the airport such as Europcar, Sixt, Avis, Budget or Hertz, among others. You can check the models available for your travel dates online.

The advantage of this option is flexibility and I advise you to research the cars available online for your travel dates and, when you decide, book before you arrive. This way you are sure to find what you want.

But be careful! Be aware that there are two places where you can pick up your rental car at Beauvais airport, depending on the company you choose:

  • In the parking lot 3
  • In an area set up for this purpose in front of terminal 2, between the bus station and the parking lots.

Useful information

  • Schedule: if you have booked, you can pick up your car upon arrival, but please note that the car rental companies at Beauvois airport have business hours. Make sure it is compatible with your flight.
  • Price: depends on many factors. Approximately, the rental for a week ranges from around 300€ to about 800€ depending on the model and size of car you choose.
  • Duration of the trip: the trip to Paris by car takes about one hour and twenty minutes.
  • Intermediate stops: you drive, so you decide the itinerary.
  • Reservation required: Yes.

Regional express train (TER), no rush

You will see it signposted as TER and you can take it from Paris Gare du Nord to Beauvois SNCF station.

The route is not direct, so although it has the advantage of being an economical option, it is not very practical. It may be worthwhile if your hotel in Paris is at the Gare du Nord.

From the airport to the Beauvois train station there is still a long way to go:

  • Busline: you have to add to the price of your trip the amount of the bus line 6 (it is a public transport, so the price is around 1 €) and about 30 minutes of travel. Buses leave both the train station and the airport twice an hour, between 7:30 and 19:18.
  • Cab: the approximate price is 16 € and the travel time is slightly less than the bus, about 20 minutes. The schedules are more flexible, of course, they leave whenever you want.

Useful information

  • Timetable: there is a high frequency of trains between Gare du Nord and Beauvais, up to 26 trains per day on weekdays. The first one leaves at 06:07 and you can check if there are trains at the time you need on their website.
  • Price: approximately 16€. To this price you have to add the cost of the bus or cab you need to get from the airport to the station.
  • Travel time: one hour and thirty minutes, to which you have to add another half hour or 20 minutes if you want to connect with a bus to get to the station from the airport or with a cab.
  • Intermediate stops: the bus that connects the station with the airport hasintermediate stops.
  • Is it necessary to make a reservation? No, it is not necessary. You can buy your ticket directly at the ticket office, but it is advisable to make a reservation to ensure a seat.

Cab, the last option for this route

Although the cab rank is directly at the airport and may be a good option, the cab between Paris and Beauvais airportis not a popular or practical option.

Considering that Beauvois airport is mostly served by low-cost airlines, it is likely that you will pay more to take a cab to Paris than you paid for the flight.

Interesting facts

  • Timetable: whatever you want. The cab rank is at the exit of the airport, so as soon as you arrive you will have a cab available.
  • Price: between 170€ and 200€ approximately, depending on the normal or night rate.
  • Duration of the trip: approximately one hour and a half, depending on where you are staying in Paris or possible traffic jams on the road.
  • Intermediate stops: No.
  • Is it necessary to make a reservation? No.
